This weekend is being dedicated to Jan Borchardt. She was a founding member of
Kettle Moraine ES Club. Over the years, she has served in many capacities, most
recently as co-chair and trophy chair of this weekend’s events. She entered the
world of English Setters in 1965. She bred several well thought out litters, from
which she had many champions. Maybe her most memorable moment was winning
the 1991 English Setter National with Libby and Susie on the lead. She was loving
wife to Dennis, mother to Susie and Denny, grandmother to Christopher, great
grandmother to Lacey, Stone and Coal. She is sorely missed by family and her
many friends. The English Setter world truly lost a special person. Come help us
celebrate her life and love of English Setters.
